Throw-Back Thursday

So a couple days ago, my best friend Aimee found an old camera in her house with a bunch of interesting photos on it. Most of them were from a 'modeling photo shoot' that we had decided to take a couple years ago.

Aimees older sister Bronte had helped us dress up in some of her clothes and put some pretty rocking makeup on. (We were somewhere between 3rd and 5th grade at the time.) We had then catwalked down the hallway and posed some pretty professional and stylish poses for her while she took pictures of us. And let me just tell you, they are pretty spectacular!!

For some reason, we thought that this lovely backdrop of the door was perfect for the kind of professional pictures we were taking! I mean, look at our faces! I think it's pretty safe to say that these are TOTALLY glamour magazine worthy!

Also, don't ask why I'm always either glaring at the camera or at Aimee, because I really have no idea. I probably thought I actually looked like a model. Hahahahahahaha! Oh my young stupid little brain!

This was another picture that Aimee found on the camera. It is a picture of us in our Halloween costumes in 5th grade. In case you couldn't tell, we are Siamese twins! Yup, are legs are attached together and everything! We are just that cool!

I remember that day at school, Mrs. Fuentes had decided that our class would play around the world (the multiplication game, not the basketball game - now THAT would have been a disaster!) Well Aimee was the best person at that game in our class. So while she was making her way around the whole world, or around the whole classroom, I was stuck being dragged along behind her. (Because in case you forgot, we were siamese twins, so our legs were stuck together the whole day!) And boy oh boy was it exciting!!

I also remember that when it was time for library that day, Aimee and I tried (not on purpose) to fit through the door at the same time as a boy in our class named Chris. Chris was dressed up as a clown for Halloween with a ton of makeup and everything! Well, when we tried to get through the door, Chris, being much shorter than me, got makeup all over my shoulder! And Mrs. Fuentes had to try to get it out with her tide-to-go speed stick. It didn't really work, and I ended up walking around with a stain on my shoulder for the rest of the day. :(

Well Aimee thought this picture was hilarious for two main reasons. 1) We were randomly wearing matching purses that totally didn't match our outfits at all! 2) We had piggytail buns on either side of our face, and we were in 5th grade - which by then we were a tad too old and totally too mature for piggytail buns! Haha!

This last picture is of Aimee and I on the first day of school in probably either 4th or 5th grade. And ummm . . . I don't really want to talk about this one for several reasons. 1) My cheesy retarded face! What on earth was I thinking? 2) My choice of outfit on the first day of school. Why on earth did my mom let me go to school on THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL dressed in a bunny shirt that said: "Nobody's perfect, I'm as close as it gets"? Ummmm HELLO?!?! That just screams stupid retarded arrogant girl! 3) My stupid over the shoulder backpack - which by the way I thought was sooo cool - is like half as big as me!! For goodness sakes, it was the first day of school! What could possibly be so big that I would need on the first day of school? Oh dearest children . . .

Also, did you notice how in every single one of these pictures I am doing some weird, dumb thing with my face, and of course, Aimee over there looks cute and normal like usual! And now we see who the weird one was, and always will be!

Oh and just a little funny bit of info for ya: I typed this whole thing on my notes on my ipod because the internet was being retarded and not letting me type it on the actual blog page. Stupid, I know! And then I copied and pasted the whole post over onto this blog. And well, I tried to add pictures but it wouldn't work. So I had to save the post, and then come back and add the pictures today on the computer. Stupid internet, stupid ipod. I don't know why I added this little snippet of useless info, but I hope you enjoyed it just the same. Haha!

So Anyway . . . Ya gotta love old pictures and old memories, even if they are sometimes frightening to look back on! Yikes!
