A Chest-Stabbing BFF

My best friend stabbed me in the back today! Literally, with a pencil! Except, she stabbed me in the chest, not the back. But whatever, same difference.

We were just hanging out in my room, drawing an awesome flying castle that we are going to invent sometime in the future. Well, I thought that the castle should be able to change design according to your desire, but she thought that the castle shouldn't be able to change at all. Well, we obviously started arguing about it, and the next thing I know, the pencil that she had been using to draw the tower of the castle was half way through my chest, and blood was dripping everywhere.

Yea, some friend right?! But don't worry, she immediately regretted her violent action, and helped me into the car, and into the emergency room. And after getting nine stitches, I'm totally fine. And we have a hilarious story to tell!!

Okay, so I am totally kidding about everything that I just said. Well, half way kidding.

There was actually a pencil sticking half way out of my chest, and there was blood dripping everywhere. However, it was only half of a pencil, and it was taped to my chest, and the so called blood was actually red paint. But it did look pretty amazingly scary if I do say so myself.

So here's the story:

I am constantly joking around with my friend about me dying. I say it all the time that it has become kinda of a daily joke. Everyday I will ask her something along the lines of 'What would you do if you walked into my room one day and found me lying on the floor, dead, like this?' And I then lie on the floor acting dead.

Well, today we decided to take the joke a bit further by actually painting a bloody wound on my chest. And after looking it over, we decided that we needed to make it look like something was sticking out of my chest as if someone had attacked me. Well, that it when I sent her to go and get a pencil, tape, and glue. She brought back the supplies, and we created our beautiful master piece!

Well, my mom didn't believe our story one bit, so once my friend had to go home, we decided to try it out on her family. They were a little more concerned then my mom was.

My friend runs into her house panting, and spurting out bits and pieces of our story. I come running in close behind her, panting and pretending to sob. Well, we kinda started laughing at the sight of her family, and at that moment, I ran out the back door, and then back in (that was my attempt to stop laughing). When I come back in side, I continue pretending to cry, and her mom and dad notice the blood on my chest. They appear to be a little more worried and come closer to see what is on my chest. And at that time my friend and I start busting up laughing, and we reveal to her family our little secret.

Well, I go home, and continue on with my life, with the pencil still taped to my chest. A couple minutes later, I'm making a salad with my sister and she and my little brother finally notice the blood all over my chest. After they asked what exactly it was, I told them the story. They were absolutely appalled! The had believed every word that I had told them, and even assumed that the tape (which was now kinda of coming off) was actually skin. They totally thought I was bleeding majorly until my mom revealed my secret. (Probably because my sister refused to look at it because she thought it was so disgusting.)

Well, I have to say, the two great reactions that I got were totally worth the hour that it took my friend and I to create my bloody accident. It was absolutely, 100% worth it!

So anyway . . . nobody will ever believe me again. But that is totally fine by me!
